New laws have been passed recently dealing with Main drains. Our industry has had many lawsuits from injuries, drowning and deaths due to lack of proper sizing and ratings on many of the Main drain covers installed in swimming pools. We have new covers that can cover retro-fit into your existing main drain receiving plate. I would recommend the SDX® main drain cover for most applications.

Single speed, 2-Speed or Multi-Speed Pumps

What is right for you?

New laws have been passed in California regarding Pump Horsepower and energy consumption. It is now against the law to install over a 3/4 hp. Pump as a filter pump. The only legal options are:

1. An approved single speed high efficiency Pump
2. A 2-speed Pump with a timer to control both speeds.
3. A multi-speed Pump with ability to time at least two speeds.
